Why Change? Creative Connex Company Statement on our rebranding
With times and situations changing so rapidly I have spent this difficult period reflecting on how best to move forward. I have been re-imagining how we deliver improved future services as well as providing opportunities to engage, discuss, learn, create and connect.
This period that includes the current health and racial pandemics has reminded me of how precious time is. Many of us have lost loved ones, others have seen years of livelihoods vanish in weeks, whilst the final 8 minutes 46 seconds of George Floyd life is something the world will never forget. For me knowing I have come through past experiences that include labouring on buildings sites, long periods of unemployment during the turbulent 1980s and redundancy in 2009 has given me strength. This has reminded me resilience and adaptability are key. I’m fortunate that I have an energising team to inspire me to seek fresh opportunities and a solid cadre of wonderful friends and family to advise and support me.
Taking time to re-imagine our objectives and produce quality, relevant services for this new decade has been invigorating and recommended! I will still ensure that our values: having diversity, inclusion and opportunity remain at the centre of our rebranded company, providing fresh connections for our expanding list of clients. We look forward to taking this new direction together with you and look out for future updates from the team ahead of our relaunch on 1st September and our brand-new website with an online launch party on 16th September 2020.
